Beginning Marbling Workshop

   This workshop is suitable for:

• Small class size – Max 10 students!

• Adults, individuals, couples & group

• Teens (7 yrs and above)

• Parent & child pair (under 7 yrs)

• No prior art experience required

Workshop Fees

Individual (i.e. one pax only) – RM120/pax

Quick description: This class is personalized for beginners and returning students alike. In this 2 hour session, will allow you to explore colors, learn basic techniques and creating traditional patterns such as stone, gel-git, shawl, combed and peacock.

A variety of paper colors, weights, and sizes will be supplied and by the end of the class, you will have at lease 5 marbled pieces to take home and and use for bookbinding, card making, scrapbooking, framing, and more. Come explore the ancient art form of floating paint on thickened water. 

Length of Class: 2 hours.

No of Class Participants: Maximum of 10 students. 

Cost: Includes all paper, carrageenan bath, alum, distilled water, paint, use of tanks and tools, and handouts.

Finishing products: 3 pieces of marbled paper, a piece of  coaster & a piece of wooden ornaments. 

*Note:  To allow adequate for drying and setting, need around 15mins after workshop.
