Quick Description: Briefly go through the historical and theoretical background of Paper Marbling Ebru Art, or Water Marbling - A calming, relaxing, healing art. In this hands-on class, you will learn the basics to get you started designing both traditional marbled papers. This class is designed for beginners interested in exploring the ancient art form of floating paint on thickened water—without the hassle of prep, set up, and shopping for materials! Everything will be provided for you. Just show up and have fun! No previous art experience of any kind necessary!

By the end of class, you will have 2 marbled pieces to take home and use for bookbinding, card making, scrapbooking, framing, and more.

Length of Class: 2-4 hours

No of Class Participants: Maximum of 50 ppls

Cost: Includes all paper, carrageenan bath, alum, distilled water, paint, use of tanks and tools.

Finishing products: 2 pieces of marbled paper and 1 piece wooden ornament.

*Note: To allow adequate for drying and setting, need around 15mins after workshop.
