Ebru Art, or Water Marbling - A calming, relaxing, healing art!

Penyu artlab offers art courses, whether you’re with or without art experience, interested in learning the basics of marbling. We eoffer a variety of marbling classes, private lessons and events, to meet the needs of beginner and advanced marblers alike. Our intensive but thoughtfully designed art and craft classes in Malaysia. Quick Description: Learn the fundamentals of marbling—from making the bath to troubleshooting tips and creating traditional patterns, this course will walk you through every step of the marbling process to producing beautiful creations on paper and object~ and gives you the confidence to start marbling on your own at home!

Quick Description: How to draw beautiful flowers in Ebru Art

This class will cover a variety of techniques including the preparation of traditional paints, adjusting the marbling solution for floral design, creating flower-styled marbling such as tulips, hyacinths, daisies, violets and carnations.

What will you get in this program?

Classses: This is two-days intensive classes total six-hours.
Briefly go through the historical and theoretical background of Paper Marbling

Getting to know the materials, first demonstrations, different Ebru types, preparing the liquid using Carrageenan, how to use the oxgall to adjust the spread of the colors, and many more topics will be covered to help you master the art of Ebru
Challenge the dynamics of liquid forms and take control of the colors
Learn how to form beautiful flowers and Extraordinary patterns
Each artwork is unique, non-repeatable
Unleash your creativity and let your inspiration flow

We will show you how to apply Ebru on different materials such as paper, textile, ceramic, glass and more.

And once you feel comfortable at the marbling tank with paper, you can easily move on to marbled fabric for purses, clothing, and accessories like scarves; and marble on other substrates like wood, canvas, tree leaves, 3D objects, and more.
